Starting in the 1950s, the civil rights struggle in America began with the use of the courts to combat discriminatory laws in America. Thurgood Marshall, et al, of the NAACP successfully won the Brown v. Board of Education to desegregate public schools. The vidoe goes on to describe the Montgomery Bus Boycott and Central High School in Little Rock Arkansas.
