Brake drums are stripped, using two brass wire wheels and a lot of time. I've coated the bare metal (innards) with phosphoric acid, to get rid of rust, and have painted all four corners with gloss black caliper paint. I'll let the things cure overnight and then will reassemble it all tomorrow, likely after having mowed my lawn.
I count today as a GREAT day, given the soupy bathwater resultant, and how many times I had to wash my hair to get it clean.
