In this video we show how a trained operator should handle and deploy a self-expanding Nitinol stent that is pre-loaded on the Dextronix delivery system. We show how to manipulate the pusher, remove the safety cover and partially deploy and retract the stents.
This same delivery system is used in the tracheal stents (TN) and both covered (UN2) and uncovered (UN) urethral stent systems.
The DexStent-UN is not retractable!!
