Here's how we made homemade ice cream in our KitchenAid:

Add eggs and sugar to the mixing bowl, and blend. Slowly add in cream to the mixture. Pour the mixture into a pot on a hotplate or stove. Stir the mixture over low heat until it comes to a light simmer. Pour the mixture back into the mixing bowl and add milk, vanilla extract, and flavorings. Mix well, and then transfer it to the fridge to cool thoroughly. Set up your KitchenAid ice cream attachment and put it on slow. Add your ice cream mixture and fresh strawberries and churn until it thickens. Enjoy it when it reaches the desired consistency, or put it in a container and place it in the freezer to enjoy later.

It is easy to make ice cream at home with your KitchenAid, and our strawberry ice cream was delicious.
