President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged young people to follow in the footsteps of the late ANC president Oliver Tambo. Tambo, who led the ANC for close to thirty years in exile, is credited with holding together the liberation movement and placing the plight of ordinary South Africans on the global stage. Tambo, who was born in Mbizana, Eastern Cape, would have been 102 years on Sunday (27 October 2019).
