The United We Stand Festival hosted by Free and Equal Elections Foundation began in Los Angeles and will continue as a tour, bringing together popular socially-conscious musicians, speakers, authors, and other cultural leaders to discuss and celebrate the political process. This momentum will help inspire people to run for office targeting the Congressional races in 2016.
The Free and Equal Elections Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to broaden electoral choices through education. Free and Equal Elections will launch an open source “Election Assistant” App. This “Election Assistant” App will be accessible to all and provide information on every candidate.
There will be a series of open presidential debates and United We Stand Festivals in 2016 hosted by the Free and Equal Elections Foundation. To kick off the 2016 open debates and United We Stand Fest Tour the second annual 2015 United We Stand Fest rocked the stage of the Belasco Theater, LA on September 19th.
