🌍 About 66 million years ago, during the Upper Cretaceous period, the different species of dinosaurs that populate the planet manage to support their domination on Earth. These enormous animals, which could reach up to several tens of meters in length depending on the species and sport different physiques, sometimes very threatening and disturbing, became the largest predators known on the blue planet. They take up a lot of space and become powerful and fearsome animals for anyone who approaches them. Their evolutions are numerous and unceasing, they never stop growing and developing throughout the eras they go through.
🔥 As a reminder, the videos are published on SUNDAYS at 6:00 PM.

💥 DINOSAUR EXTINCTION:
- At this time, dinosaurs are evolving on a planet with a much warmer and drier climate than today. The air is heavy and the wind rarely blows. These species grew up on an Earth that contained no glaciers and stagnant water with very few marine currents. The cold zones are almost unknown as the heat is important. The lands being still quite close to each other at this time, the hot and dry climate extends over all habitable surfaces, leaving the high peaks as the coolest areas. In fact, compared to the rest of the planet, these places are the only ones to experience small periods of cold, and for good reason, the altitude allows the little fresh air to settle in these places.
During this period, step by step, new dinosaurs began to appear on the earth's surface. This is, for example, the case of Protoceratops, a dinosaur that lived mostly on the ground in Mongolia and fed only on plants. This herbivore appears during the Upper Cretaceous, but it is not the only one to dominate this period.
The latter was itself dominated since it quickly became the main prey of the Velociraptor, a carnivore armed with a powerful jaw containing about 80 extremely sharp teeth. It is therefore a large predator, just like the Tyrannosaurus, or more commonly known as "the T-Rex". The latter is one of the most ferocious dominant dinosaurs of the Upper Cretaceous period. Indeed, this famous creature is more than impressive since it can reach 12 meters long and weigh more than 7 tons. It is a real mass of nerves and dangers that rises above its various preys. Being an essential element of the terrestrial landscape of this period, the Tyrannosaurus does not hesitate at all to establish its dominance, it is one of the most respected dinosaurs, especially because of its frightening way of defeating its victims. This enormous creature grabs them before crushing them with its large and powerful jaw containing long, sharp teeth.
Lava flows are then poured on the whole planet, later they will be named, by the researchers, the Trapps of Deccan. The consequences of these flows are dramatic for the fauna and flora, no part of the Earth is then safe. The ground is hot, burning, deadly, covered with lava and fire in full progress. In some places, it is now impossible to walk on the ground with peace of mind because the heat is increasing. The temperature of the planet does not delay to follow the same way. In only a few hours, the climate of the Earth changes radically according to the elements brought by the natural catastrophe which is played on the surface. The change is abrupt and puts many animals in difficulty.
65 million years ago, towards the end of the Upper Cretaceous period, after various tremors, life struggled to resume its normal course, a huge asteroid headed straight for the planet Earth. This asteroid is indeed colossal, measuring nearly 10 kilometers in diameter and weighing more than a billion tons.
When the asteroid finally enters the Earth's atmosphere, it marks the beginning of the fifth major extinction known on the planet. This last one is very important because it is called the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction. On that day, a world populated by 2 million animal species abruptly ended.
