For over 22 years I have been going up North to the same Island camping in Northern Saskatchewan for year after year. Now my kids (adults really) are going up to the same Island year after year and the tradition continues. The island is not the easiest place to get to by far and the only way there is by boat. On an average one week trip you can count the people that you see on one hand and you have a better chance of hearing the wolves that are on the cliffs howling than hearing the voice of a person. This year on the May long weekend me and Bro headed up to the island to record some of its beauty but out of the 10 days that I spent there I could only fly my Phantom Drone for a few hours and even then it was done in high winds but I think I managed to capture a bit of great video of my favorite place in the world. I made this video to also help me get through the terrible and long Saskatchewan winters so when the winter's winds are howling down our chimney I can play this video to remind me of better times and weather coming. Enjoy!
