Using this breadboard as a sort of external tone pot I've hooked up different values of capacitors, some in series others in parallel to obtain the desired values, from left to right: 1nF, 4nF, 11nF, 24nF, 33nF, 47nF, 66nF, 100nF, 200nF and 47nF with a 4.7k resistor in series.
The higher the capacitor value, the more frequencies are lost, and the resistor kinda alters the capacitance value, the higher the resistance, the lower the capacitance more or less.
Bass used is a Fender Precision Nate Mendel signature, with Rotosound RS66LE strings, recorded directly into a Steinberg UR22 audio interface and Cubase.
