The new Kia Tasman 2025 pickup truck. Kia is expected to sell the Tasman with the existing 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine.
The truck will be based on the same frame architecture as the Kia Mohave SUV. It will be powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder CRDi engine found in other Kia and Hyundai models. Korea may also consider a more powerful 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine for the pickup, though this has yet to be confirmed. The Tasman is positioned as a direct competitor to established rivals such as the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, Mitsubishi Triton and VW Amarok and will be available for sale in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Korea, Africa and the Middle East.
