Set in 1981 I believe, in the fictional city of Gotham, this is the origin story of one of the most infamous villians there ever was. Not based on any one comic book in particular, writer-director #ToddPhillips and co-writer Scott Silver create a strange universe, which is simultaneously fictional or very very real dono hai.
