The 2025 Subaru Ascent is about to say something quiet but important. When Subaru improved the outside of the Ascent, they seemed to pay close attention to every detail. They also kept the familiar shape that made the model famous. With what might be a new face and sharper headlight edges, the front fascia looks like it wants to make a statement. The SUV could look more sculpted by making small changes to the lines that run along the sides. The bumper and taillights on the back of the car will look a little different to fit the other changes to how it looks.
The turbocharged 2.4-liter boxer engine that is already in the 2025 Ascent is expected to stay in it. Small changes that boost horsepower or speed could be on the way, which would make driving more fun. However, big changes are not likely to happen. Subaru is still committed to all-wheel drive, and if the Ascent's handling and stability control systems are made better, it might do better on and off-road. Because efficiency is always getting better, fuel economy rates could also see small gains.
The well-known continuously variable transmission (CVT) is likely to stay the same, just like the engine. Making the car more fun to drive, though, is possible by changing the speed or range of the gears. Subaru might also come out with a new version of its EyeSight driver aid system. This new version might have more safety features and maybe even more advanced features for driving on your own.
However, the official price has not been announced yet. It is possible that it will cost a little more than the 2024 model since it may have a few extra features and tools. How much the 2025 Ascent costs will depend on the trim level and options you choose. Prices could start at $40,000. With better technology and more high-end features, it makes sense that higher trim levels will cost more. Most cars change years around the end of summer or the start of fall, which is when the 2025 Ascent should come out.
