Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this TeraPump Battery Powered Fuel Transfer Pump with auto stop for gas cans. This battery operated pump is going to let you transfer fuel from your gas can to your mower, your boat or ATV with no funnels and virtually no spilling. There's not gonna be any lifting required either so it's gonna be perfect for using in your garage, your shop, your yard, farms, or on the dock. Now this pump is compatible with non-corrosive liquids such as gas, non-potable water, kerosene, diesel, or light oils and it's not compatible with thinners or solvents, hot water, drinking water, acetone, benzene, carousal, ethyl phenol, methyl ethyl, concentrated caustic liquid soda, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, or sulfuric acid. Now why do you need a pump like this Well, some cans such as this one have safety features on the nozzle that can make it more difficult to pour fuel out.
That's one example and we have another example here. Now these safety features are great, but like I said, it can become a hassle to easily pour fuel out of your gas can. So when you have a pump like this all you have to do is remove the cap from your gas can and you're going to bypass all of that. So you just simply put the pump into the gas can. And let me go ahead and zoom out here real quick.
And as you can see, all you have to do is put the discharge hose wherever you're needing the fuel and you're not gonna have to worry about spilling or messing around with safety features on the nozzle. That can make it more difficult for you to get the fuel out of your can. So this is going to be very easy to use. This intake valve, by the way, I measured this earlier, we are sitting right at about 15 and a half inches long and that diameter is about one and three 16 inches in diameter. So this is going to virtually fit in just about every type of gas can.
So you're not gonna have to worry about any messes. Let me go ahead and put my cap back on here and get this out of the way. Now this is powered by two double A batteries and the batteries are not included with this so that would be a separate purchase for you if you do not already have the batteries. But if you are in need of double a batteries we do have those available here at etrailer.com and then you just turn the switch on. And that's how easy this is going to be to power this pump up.
Now this does have a locking clip that is going to secure the nozzle on your receiving receptacle and that's gonna give you a hands free experience. This discharge hose overall is about 28, 29 inches long and this transfers at a rate of 2.4 gallons per minute. This has an auto stop sensor here that is going to stop the flow when your tank is full. And then this also features a built in holder that's going to store your discharge novel nozzle safely. So it'll be out of your way. Now this pump size, as you can see is going to be very easy to store and transport. The overall height from top to bottom, we're sitting right about 21 inches long and the the height of the head as it's sticking out of the can, we're about six inches tall. And this is going to meet the safety standards of A N S I U L C S A and N S F and an instruction sheet is included. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
