This is another 8 mm Castle Film that my family purchased in 1942. It shows B&W coverage of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The movie was originally silent, but I added music, otherwise, this is the original version which my relatives own.

I did a search online and found the complete version of this newsreel, about twice as long. If you like this one, you might also enjoy the original version with music and narration. It's hard for me to hear the Japanese referred to as "The Japs" (sounds so racist) and constantly accused of treacherous and deceitful bombing. However, World War II had already begun, even if the US hadn't joined in yet. Did they really expect the Japanese to warn the US by announcing their intentions ahead of time? [ Ссылка ]
