Mark Heidaker's Ford GT Twin Turbo sets a new Texas Mile Speed record both at the half mile 217 mph and 267.6 MPH at the Mile. The engine was built by Accufab Racing Engines and the car was built and assembled at Hennessey Performance Engineering by Kevin Kesterson. Driver Patrick O'Gorman is making his 5th full pass in the car on this run having previously run 215, 200, 250, 261 and then the record pass recorded here. The engine uses Precision Turbochargers and is fed C16 by a MoTeC M800 Engine Management System and MoTeC Ignition Expander with a MoTeC SDL3 and MoTeC Shiftlight Module all calibrated by Shane Tecklenburg (Tuned By Shane T) and fetures a Ford GT to MoTeC adapter loom from GP Motorsports Wiring.
