While Pink Martini was in Paris this October to perform two concerts at The Grand Rex, our "little orchestra" was surprised by a special visit from our friend Googoosh, the Iranian superstar vocalist, who was in Paris during her farewell concert tour. After a quick rehearsal, Ms. Googoosh joined us onstage for a performance of her song "Pishkesh" (by Mansour Tehrani and Hassan Shamaizadeh). We're in the early stages of working on an album featuring this incredible singer. Ms. Googoosh's team captured the event on video for us.
