In this video I take you to Oliver Reginald Tambo Heritage House in Avondale Lusaka which was used as a safe house during the Apartheid era.
This South African heritage site also known as ''PHIRI'' commemorates Oliver Tambo's life in exile and the strong bond between Zambia and South Africa.
The two countries forged strong relations during the struggle days and the ANC's longest leader Oliver Tambo set up base in Lusaka.
The house in which he used to stay, was unveiled as a National Heritage site in 2017.
