What's the difference between the preterite and the imperfect past tense in Spanish? How and when do you use the preterito and the imperfecto at the same time? are very common questions my Spanish students ask me all the time.

¡Hola! Soy Brenda Romaniello from Hola Spanish and today I'd like to teach you how to use both past tenses in Spanish: the preterite and the imperfect, at the same time. I've done other videos completely in Spanish explaining the difference and many of you have requested that I did a lesson explaining this in English too, so here it is, I hope it helps.
