Sea shepherd global have released shocking footage of inhabitants from the Faroe Islands slaughtering numerous pilot whales yesterday (23 July).
The killings, known as ‘grindadráp in Faroese, took place in two separate drive hunts in Bøur and Tórshavn villages on the island.
Around 250 of the animals were killed in total during over the course of the two hunts.
