Hydraulic lift is a type of machine that uses a hydraulic apparatus to lift or move objects using the force created when pressure is exerted on liquid in a piston. Force then produces "lift" and "work."It works on the principle of pascal's law(It states that any pressure applied to a fluid inside a closed system will transmit that pressure equally in all directions throughout the fluid).
Principle:Essentially, because the liquid in the pipe is in compressible, the pressure must stay constant all the way through it, even when you're pushing it hard at one end or the other. Now pressure is defined as the force acting per unit of area.
Jacks are used to lift very heavy loads with little human effort. They demonstrate a concept of mechanical advantage,, where small forces applied for large time or distance can be used to lift very heavy loads for small distance.
Procedure: 1. Take some First take a syringe and insert a flexi tube in it
.2. Colored water in the syringe.we are using it so we can see the hydraulics
.3. Insert the second syringe at the other end of flexi tube push and pull the plunger to test this part.
4. Now take ice cream sticks and make three holes at two corners and in the middle using the needle. Do this in all eight sticks.
5. Bind two sticks in the middle with copper wire. Do this in all sticks.
6. Make it like snake like structure with six sticks.
7. Attach the syringe at the bottom of the ice cream stack
