Renna might not show up for the players in the Church of Elleh after considerable amount time passed once you get the Torrent or also once you are introduced to the Roundtable Hold.

1. Go to site of grace at the Church of Elleh
2. Pass time until nightfall
3. Fight Tree Sentinel while mounted on Torrent (or die in any manner while mounted)
4. Profit

I did this after I went to Roudtable Hold btw. My game look a bit different because I am experimenting with Reshade.
