Dr. Rush: The best thing about my job is taking an athlete who's being injured, being able to work with them, figure out the diagnosis, come up with a treatment plan, go over with that with them. And I think that's really, really important is making sure the athlete knows exactly their diagnosis, what the treatment plan is, and making sure that they really own their treatment, and then working with them as they're going through the rehabilitation process. And getting back to sports. The coolest thing that I get to do on a day to day basis is to have an athlete who I've taken care of who's now going back to their sport, and one of my patients who's a football player who had had an ACL tear, and I'd reconstructed it sent me, you know, sent me a message through Instagram, saying that he, you know, went back to the first game and he had some some photos of making his first sack. And that's huge. I mean, that's the best part is being able to work with an athlete and get them back to their sport that they love.
