After the 4th cusade and the fall of constantinople in 1204 A.D many latin and Greek-Byzantine estates and empires formed. Here is the history of the small latin empire which tried to evacuate the Byzantines but failed and 57 years after the crusade the Byzantines took revenge and restored the Byzantine empire in 1261.
