The Slurred Word cocktail is a variation of the Last Word and can be found at Trina's Starlite Lounge in Somerville, Massachusetts. Although this is a Last Word variation, it does not entirely. The differences are in the more significant amounts of pineapple juice and the over-proof Jamaican Rum. Adding the Maraschino Liqueur, Green Chartreuse, and Lime juice balances this beautifully. SLURRED WORD

1 oz/30 ml Over Proof Jamiacan Rum
.5 oz/15 ml Green Chatreuse
.5 oz/15 ml Maraschino Liqueur
1 oz/15 ml Pineapple Jucie
.5 oz/15 ml Lime Juice

METHOD

1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 8-10 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a Coupe.
