The Circus Connections project successfully bridged generational divides, connecting young and old while closing the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. Through creative collaboration in storytelling and circus arts, the initiative fostered understanding, promoted teamwork, and strengthened community spirit. Participants of all abilities developed new skills, experienced personal growth, and enhanced their emotional well-being, while building stronger connections within their communities, particularly in flood-affected areas. The project’s focus on intergenerational creativity and collaboration helped foster resilience and a sense of community.
