Ingredients:
8-10 Bread Slices, chopped into chunks
2 Onions, chopped
3-4 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
3-4 Green Chillies
20-25 Curry Leaves
1/4th tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Sugar (Optional)
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste
Method:
- In a pan heat some oil.
- Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice & chopped onion. Give a good stir.
- Cover it with a lid and let the onions become soft.
- Add salt & sugar. Mix well.
- Add chopped bread chunks and mix well.
- Cover it for 5 minutes.
- Bread Upma is ready to be served.
