The increase in attacks targeting critical infrastructure—from the Colonial Pipeline in the United States to University Hospitals in Germany—underscore the urgent need to address systemic cybersecurity risks. Although the threat is the same, the United States and the European Union have taken different approaches to solving this problem.
CSIS invites you to join a discussion on the American and European perspectives on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure. Izabela Albrycht, Chair of the CYBERSEC Program Committee, will provide introductory remarks. She will be followed by a panel discussion between John Costello, Chief of Staff, Office of the National Cyber Director, Robert Kośla, Director of the Cybersecurity Department at the Chancellery of the Prime Minster of Poland, and Sebastian Burgemejster, Managing Partner at BW Advisory.
This event is done in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington D.C.
