Rescue efforts are still underway in Haiti after a deadly and devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake rocked the country on Saturday. As of Sunday evening, nearly 1,300 people are confirmed dead and 5,700 others are injured in the aftermath of the disaster, which was more intense than the quake that shook the country in 2010.
A Canadian assessment team is now on the ground to provide aid in Les Cayes, which was the city hardest hit by the quake. But as Heather Yourex-West reports, rescue efforts are being complicated by both the country's tenuous political climate and an advancing tropical storm.
