Some studies show that more than half of pet owners bring their furry friends along on vacations, which is becoming more and more the trend. According to Airbnb, the top three most popular amenities are wifi, free parking, and… a pet-friendly space!
There is growing evidence that pet-friendly properties are more lucrative than their non-pet neighbors. For starters, pet owners tend to stay longer in one location, meaning higher occupancy rates for your property and lower operational or housekeeping costs. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that higher occupancy and lower costs can easily lead to higher revenues for your property!

However, the question of whether or not to allow pets is not easy. Many short-term rental owners have split opinions on the subject.
