MODERN & CHEAP DIY Waterbox Aquarium Lid Under $25 | Blue Reef Tank
This week, I am sharing how I built my own Waterbox Nano Saltwater Tank Lid for under $25. I wanted to upgrade the look of my tank lids and decided to do this little DIY project. Waterbox tank lids are usually expensive (over $100 AUD each) and this DIY one is so much more affordable (under $25 AUD)! Overall, the materials are easy to find and you can easily replicate this at home for all your tanks.
I love the matte black finish of the frame. The edges blend very well with the tank for a modern and clean look. On top of that, the new Red Sea mesh allows more light penetration into the tank and my corals seem happier than before. The holes in the mesh are small enough to prevent my fish from jumping out of the tank.
