Veracity is about a popular African American girl named Olivia, who is inadvertently outed by her friends after she develops feelings for the new girl at her high school. Written by Greene as a senior in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, Veracity explores the tensions and stigma of being gay in the Black community. For 15 years, Scenarios has asked teens to share their realities, and they have responded with a raw and revealing constellation of voices of what it means to be a teenager today.
