I was responsible for New Product Launch - star ships, which will go on real world trials during January and February 2018. These
are first generation of Magnetic Adhesion Crawlers fitted with 4 geared
drives, facilitating digital differential capabilities during operation.
This is an ordinary ferrous-surface Crawler, but second version will be an ATEX certified crawler for underwater/sea applications. Also, both of these robots will be
able to conduct visual and NDT inspections with instant interchangeable probes and sensors.
ROV is rated for 100m depth. Crawler is a platform to provides video and NDT inspection capabilities. It uses magnetic adhesion, up to 250kg force, to attach itself to inspected object.
