The map is a live resource which aims to uncover Liverpool's deep historic links to the transatlantic slave trade, to acknowledge the wealth that it brought to the city, and to commemorate sites in the city linked to slavery. The map brings together, for the first time, original research conducted by Laurence Westgaph with stories and memories collected from Liverpool's Black communities.
