Spanish bread is a soft yeast roll filled with a buttery sugar filling,rolled in bread crumbs.
*one of the many pilipino bakery breads
*filipinos love to buy at a local bakery (panaderya)
Especially during merienda or afternoon snack.
Ingredients;
1 cup warm evap milk
1 packet of dry yeast
2 tablespoon sugar
1 egg
45 g butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
320 g of plain flour + a little bit more to adjust the consistency
1/4 cup sugar
For the filling;
Sugar
Butter
Flour
Baking time 15 minutes
Baking temperature 180 degrees Celsius
