Political activist Dr. Kizza Besigye has appealed to opposition leaders to unite and adopt new strategies rather than relying on elections if they are to take power from the NRM government.
He has however stressed that the new strategy should be entirely non-violent and should be aimed at changing the mindset of Ugandans.
Besigye was speaking during the Forum for Democratic Change's National Council meeting at the party headquarters at Najjanankumbi in Kampala.
