In today's video, I will again share with you how I compost at home here in Phoenix, Arizona. I think my video is great for beginners because I was a beginner last year myself. I have made my own compost 3 times since then and they have all been successful.
To make my compost, I use kitchen food scraps - all sorts of veggies and fruit left overs, egg shells, avocado peels, tea bags, kombucha scoby, used coffee grounds, leaves from trees.
I do not add any animal products (except the egg shells). Because it could get quite warm here in Phoenix, Arizona, I make sure on daily basis that my compost is always moist.
This is my second time composting in a wheelbarrow and it works great if you have small space to work with.
