Welcome to the very first episode of the We Are the Medicine Podcast!

In this episode we discuss my first ever Ayahuasca experience which took place in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. During this psychedelic journey I learned a lot about letting go of control and how to surrender to the medicine. Once I was finally let go and surrender, I could then allow Ayahuasca to truly begin her healing on me and I discovered parts of myself that I always knew were there but hadn't allowed myself to embrace.

More About Me:

I am is a musician and medicine woman currently living in Austin Texas. I began my spiritual awakening journey around 2017 and a couple years after that I began to work deeply with plant medicines, particularly psilocybin. Working with earth medicines has completely transformed my outlook on life and helped me to heal through deep childhood trauma. I am very passionate about sharing the power of these medicines and how they can help to ease symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD and many other mental health conditions that plague our society today. This is not medical advice and I don't believe that plant medicine is for everyone. There absolutely must be precautions taken when working with psychedelics. However, if you are feeling the call I truly believe it is for a reason. I felt that call years ago and I am so grateful that I listened. I have now sat in many ceremonies and worked with different plant medicines such as Psilocybin Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, Huachuma (San Pedro) and Cannabis. I have also learned a lot about herbalism and the healing power and teachings that so many non-psychedelic plants can bring to us. It is my passion to help bring more awareness and understanding to the public about the transformational power of these plant medicines of all kinds. I hope to educate those who are interested in psychedelics on their benefits, potential dangers, how to create or find the right setting for healing and how to properly integrate psychedelic experiences so that you can receive the most benefit.
