Festival European Polyphony à Paris 2024

« Paris – Rhodes »
La création grecque et française à l’honneur : musique, arts visuels et sonores
Avant de fêter sa 6ème édition sur l’île de Rhodes en Grèce du 1er au 13 octobre 2024, le Festival European Polyphony présente sa deuxième édition à Paris, du 5 au 7 juillet 2024.
Imaginée comme un lieu d'échanges et de proximité entre les artistes et le public, cette édition parisienne propose au public une expérience nouvelle au travers de multiples univers musicaux, visuels et sonores et un spectacle d’une grande poésie. Cette rencontre francilienne vise à valoriser la coopération culturelle entre la Grèce et la France, et favoriser la transmission et la découverte de l’art et de la musique classique.
Un programme riche en émotions est à découvrir : concert de Gilles Apap et de Myriam Lafargue (violon, accordéon), promenade musicale et ateliers avec l’ensemble vocal Rodos, atelier d’initiation à la poésie antique avec l’association Sorbonne Antique, exposition « Mémoires d'une tenue brodée - Nous sommes ce que nous portons » de Kalliope Voutzali, projections et conférences. L’occasion pour le public francilien de découvrir un programme sonore, visuel et immersif, le temps d’un week-end, dans différents lieux emblématiques de Paris (Parc Floral de Paris, Faculté des Lettres - Sorbonne Université).

Le Festival European Polyphony-Paris est porté par les associations Arts Spontanés et Ars Artis, avec le concours de la Ville de Rhodes.
Le Festival reçoit le soutien de la Ville de Paris et de l’organisme de promotion du tourisme de la ville de Rhodes (PROTOUR).
L’exposition de photographies et la promenade musicale sont organisées au Parc Floral de Paris, en partenariat avec les Festivals du Parc Floral et la Direction des Espaces Verts et de l’Environnement du Parc Floral de Paris. Le concert et les ateliers sont organisés en partenariat avec l’UFR d’histoire de la Faculté des Lettres - Sorbonne Université et l'association Sorbonne Antique.
