One of the highlights of my recent trip to Mozambique was spending time at Centro da Graca (Grace Center) near Chimoio. In 2016. I stood in a circle
with locals and internationals praying over a piece of property that was overgrown and remote. We prayed for the community around to be blessed and filled with the knowledge of God’s grace and love. And now….the transformation is beyond our expectations. It is a beacon of light for miles around. People have built houses on all sides to be near it….to drink water from the wells and experience joy from its presence. Our partner Renuka
has done a masterful job planning and implementing changes to the property. The staff shares the gospel to those who are seeking. They teach women to read and write, provide preschool for little ones, and mentor
young people. This and much more make Centro da Graca a hub of peace and healing. I was blessed to be able to take part in many of the activities. The video is from Children’s Day which was filled with celebrations of
all sorts. The video captures a small slice of that special day.
Future plans include starting up a school for elementary aged children, retreats for groups, training in many areas of life. As we raise support for these, we will be able to advance this work even more.
