US Ambassador to Bosnia, John Menzies, metwith Croat mayor of Mostar, Mijo Brajovic, and afterwards reported favourably on the situation in Mostar. Joint EU, Croat and muslim police units patrolled the streets as
IFOR troops dimsmantled barracks at the former front line.

SOT Menzies, saying he came to check implementation after Rome meeting, and is very pleased with what he sees. Also pleased with joint patrols ..but not satisfied with every aspect of the progress, but its going forward. Very happy with response from all parties here.
