The 787-9 first class suite is a game changer for Hawaiian Airlines. It features 18 inch video screens, privacy doors, and fully lie flat seats. It's very competitive IMHO.
The most disappointing thing about the experience is the food. They haven't improved the menus all that much unfortunately.
This is a full review of flight number 3 from Los Angeles (LAX) to Honolulu (HNL). Total flying time was 4 hours and 45 minutes, my seat number was 5J, and the aircraft registration was N781HA.
