How does one best convey the fact that it takes a lot of time to build the skill needed to provide a service?
The truth is, it’s better to not do it at all.
If you want to make sure a client understands the value you provide, try doing the opposite: get the client to explain it to you.
Ask them: “I understand you want to do a website, but is it necessary? Will this impact your business at all?”
More than likely, the client has already decided ahead of time why your service is necessary. So let them explain why.
They might realize their products could sell better. They might be jealous of the competition.
Whatever the case, if you, the service provider, can focus on what a client is getting, then you can clearly start conveying your value.
