Queen
Live At The National Bowl
Milton Keynes, UK
June 5, 1982
Attendance: 65,000
This is the final night of the UK Hot Space Tour, and the final show with Morgan Fisher on Keyboards. He would be replaced with Fred Mandel for the US and Japan Legs. This show is often considered to be the last of Freddie Mercury's 'prime live era' from late 1979 to June 1982 where he would give 110% every night.
As always, Freddie gives it all tonight and sounds amazing throughout. Roger Taylor is drumming like a god and John Deacon plays solid as always. Brian May only has a small technical issue during his solo, but besides that, he's also on point tonight.
After this show, 'The Hero' would only be used as an opener for three more times and for virtually the rest of the tour replaced by 'Rock It'. 'Sheer Heart Attack' would be dropped as well after this show and only revived for a few shows in 1984.
