The Chief Guest on the opening day of the Sri Sathya Sai International Conference at Nairobi, Kenya (28-30 June, 2024) was His Excellency, Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi. The Honourable Mudavadi (born 21 September 1960) is a Kenyan politician and land economist who is in 2024 serving as Prime Cabinet Secretary as well as the Foreign & Diaspora Affairs Minister of Kenya.
He expressed his gratitude and delight on behalf of the government and the people of Kenya for holding this unifying and love-filled conference at a time when Nairobi was rocked with protests and unrest. He exhorted everyone to focus on the universal spiritual teachings that have been inherited from Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He also noted the commendable work done by the organization via essentials distribution, medical camps and tree planting.
The vastly experienced popular leader holds the distinction of being the youngest Finance Minister of a country the African continent has ever seen. He has also served as the Vice President of Kenya and championed the evolution of local governance. He is considered the voice of reason and a pillar of stability in Kenyan politics. .......................................................
