The World Records its Two Hottest Days in a Row | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Monday broke the record for the hottest day in the world. And then that record was broken again on Tuesday. Global average temperatures hit 17.1 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. This was partially due to heatwaves that are taking place in various parts of the world. And the rise in temperatures is due to human induced climate change, and the return of the El Nino weather phenomenon. Experts warn that the coming days could see new heat records.
