পূর্বাচল শীতলক্ষ্যা রিসোর্ট ঢাকার কাছে বেশ ইউনিক একটা রিসোর্ট। এখানে বিশাল মাছে ভরা বড় পুকুরের মাঝে রয়েছে কটেজ আর চারপাশে গাছপালা সহ রয়েছে প্রকৃতির ছোঁয়া।
ঢাকার কাছের অন্যান্য রিসোর্ট থেকে এই রিসোর্টটি তুলনামূলক বাজেট ফ্রেন্ডলি যেখানে মোটামুটি কম খরচেই কাপল কিংবা ফ্রেন্ডস এসে রুম নিয়ে ডে লং কিংবা নাইট স্টে প্যাকেজ নিতে পারেন।
তবে ২৪ ঘন্টার প্যাকেজের জন্য খরচ একটু বেশি পড়ে যাবে। এমনি ঢাকা থেকে সহজে পাবলিক ট্রান্সপোর্টে আসার ব্যাপারটি হচ্ছে এই রিসোর্টের সবচেয়ে ভালো দিক।
এছাড়াও চাইলে রিসোর্ট থেকেই যাওয়া আসার জন্য সি এন জি এর ব্যাবস্থা করে দেওয়া হয়। এমনি এসে একটু শহরের কোলাহলমুক্ত পরিবেশে একটা দিন কিংবা রাতের থাকার জন্য রিসোর্টটি বেশ ভালোই বলা চলে।
পূর্বাচল শীতলক্ষ্যা রিসোর্টের আরেকটি মজার ব্যাপার হলো এর পুকুরের মাছ। এখানে পুকুরে অনেক মাছ রয়েছে এবং আপনি চাইলে বর্শি দিয়ে এখানে মাছ ধরতে পারবেন। যে মাছ গুলো আপনি বাসায় নিয়ে আসতে পারবেন অথবা রিসোর্টেই BBQ করতে পারবেন কমপ্লিমেন্টারি।

Purbachal Shitalakshya Resort is a very unique resort near Dhaka. There is a touch of nature with cottages surrounded by large fish ponds and surrounded by plants.
Compared to other resorts near Dhaka, this resort is relatively budget-friendly where couples or friends can take a day or night stay package with a room at a relatively low cost.
But for the 24 hours package, the cost will fall a bit higher. The best part of this resort is that it is easily accessible by public transport from Dhaka. CNG is also arranged for transportation to and from the resort if desired. The resort is quite good for staying in a small city day or night without noise.
There are other resorts in the Purbachal area and near Dhaka, such as La Riveria Resort, Shitalakkhya Waterfront Resort, Aronnobash resort but this Purbachal Shitalakkhya Resort is a bit different from those. Probably the lowest-cost resort providing room & food.
The Most impressive part of the resort is its cottages and rooms. The rooms are quite big and very well decorated with a very woody design. The interior and the furniture are quite an eye catchy and complement the whole design perfectly.
All the rooms have AC and are in the same category as most of the premium resorts near Dhaka. Also very good for day trips near Dhaka where you can come with your friends or family and have a nice outing.
