The Crooked Smiles EP was recorded in Atlanta at West End Sound Recordings, A modern state of the art facility with engineer and producers Tom Tapley and Bill Kelliher(Mastodon) who were able to perfectly capture the raw, intense-thrashing old school death metal sound that is Murder Van. The lyrical content ranges from fictitious tales of terror, horror, a sexual predator overcome by his victim to meet his untimely demise, true crime, and serial killers. The Crooked Smiles Ep is morbidly satisfying and sonically crushing.
