Do you know the difference between EVERY DAY and EVERYDAY? No? Let’s work it out together!
✅ EVERYDAY is an adjective. When modifying a noun, it means ‘ordinary’ and answers the question ‘what kind?’
For example:
My everyday clothes are jeans and a sweatshirt (everyday clothes=ordinary clothes).
✅EVERY DAY is an adverbial phrase (every-adjective, day-noun) and it answers the question ‘when?’ in a sentence.
For example:
He walks to work every day. (when? = every day)
