Iranian artists Marjane Satrapi, writer of 'Persepolis' and film maker Mohsen Makhmalbaf on Tuesday denounced at the European Parliament a coup d'état by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad following the presidential elections in Iran.
According to information they obtained from Tehran, Moussavi received 19 million votes and Ahmedinejad only 5 million, or 12 percent. The Iranian authorities claimed Ahmedinejad had 62 percent of the vote.

They have asked to the international community to listen the Iranian people's voice in their fight for democracy.
