If you live in a Condo, Apartment or don't have a fenced yard you can Litter box train your small dog. It's also great for snow and icy Winters or rainy days. Betsy goes outside whenever we take her out and in the litter box when we don't. Litter is *Yesterday's News unscented paper pellets. Sprinkle a thin coat of baking soda before you add the litter. Remove poop and surrounding litter immediately with poop bag. Urine gets absorbed by the pellets. Change litter weekly and wash box with hot soapy water.
*Yesterday's News has been discontinued so we now use Purina Secondnature dog litter. It works great and actually stays fresher longer.
